AMARE’s musical style is characterized by emotional techno, dirty bass lines, and uplifting house. Her sound is deep, melodic, sensuous, sassy, with an exotic hint and a joyful touch. While she has a preference for dirty rolling basslines, her sets are unpredictable, tailored to the specific setting and context. Crossing effortlessly across genres, AMARE takes her audience on a journey.
Having started producing in 2019, AMARE has released music on prominent labels like Katermukke, Tanzgemeinschaft, Krafted, XTR Records, Sunexplosion, and Chrom Recordings. Known for her remix skills, she consistently delivers refreshing tracks that defy categorization. Her releases have climbed high in the charts and gained support from notable artists such as Guy Gerber, Dirty Doering, Furia, and Enrico Sangiuliano. Following her first full EP, AMARE was even invited to create a guest mix for BBC Radio 1.
AMARE’s impressive DJ career includes sharing the stage with renowned artists like Joris Voorn, Adriatique, Marek Hemmann, Boris Brechja, Hosh, and many more. With an academic background in human sciences and a penchant for world travel, her music selection is a reflection of diverse cultural influences. An exceptional crowd reader and music selector, AMARE aims to make her audience forget their daily hassles and fully unwind on the dancefloor.
Contributing actively to Brussels’ electronic music scene, AMARE has been involved in organizing events and festivals, including FTRSND, Brussels Electronic Marathon, and Cirque Magique. After completing her PhD in 2016, she took up DJing, quickly gaining attention for her energy, genre-blending skills, and ability to set the right mood. Within a year, she performed at Tomorrowland, warming up for renowned acts like Tale of Us, Mind Against, and Kollektiv Turmstrasse.
In 2017, AMARE launched her own party concept, AUDACIOUS, inviting artists she admires. Balancing an academic career with international gigs became challenging, prompting her decision to take a break from teaching and focus full-time on her music career.
